‘Tis the season to be jolly and nothing says ‘I care’ more than a healthy, homemade gift. Whether you’re looking for a last-minute option for a neighbor or a close relative, these easy edible gifts are a treat for all.

1. Chocolate-Mint Date Truffles

Requiring just 6 ingredients, these chocolate-peppermint truffles are the ultimate intersection of easy, festive and chocolate-y. Moreover, they’re gluten-free and dairy-free, making them ideal for friends and family with dietary restrictions.

2. Chocolate-Cherry Tahini Cookies

Every time I whip up a batch of these they’re gone within 48 hours. These gluten-free, dairy-free cookies, are soft, chewy and take ‘better-for-you’ baking to a new whole new level.
