I can't believe it's mid-December. Where did the time go? If your calendar has looked anything like mine over the last 11.5 months, I am sure you're asking yourself the same question.
As I reflect on 2016, I am so grateful for the opportunities and adventures that have come my way. I've enjoyed countless trips to the East coast, spent more time in Sydney, passed my CSSD exam, watched four friends get married, vacationed in Tuscany, and started a new job (among other things). It's dizzying to think about the volume of stuff we've packed into 2016, but my heart is as full as my calendar.
Before I kiss sweet '16 goodbye, there are a couple more line items to cross off my bucket list. One of those is video. This is something that's been on my radar for a while but has felt scary and out of reach.
After a couple of weeks of researching, tinkering and stumbling, I have finally created something semi-respectable. There's still plenty of room for improvement, but I am proud to have taken the leap. As you reflect on the year, and think about your stones unturned, I encourage you to do the same. Even if the result isn't perfect, it's a start and it feels good to be heading in the right direction.
